I’m a B.Sc(Physical Science) graduate with a Master degree in IT (e-learning). Have good literacy skills in Sinhala & English.
I have 20 years’ experience as Trainer in the IT field in my Organization – National Water Supply & Drainage Board, Sri Lanka. During this 20 years’ time, I was mainly engaged in Designing, Developing and Conducting training programmes based on both the organization’s and individual’s IT related needs. According to the requirements, conducted training programmes on Windows Operating Systems, Word Processing, Spreadsheet Management & Database Administration using MS Office Applications, SQL, Internet & E-mail Management, Internet Security in Expert Level.
During last 3 years and at present, continue my service to the Organization as a Manager and responsible to various administration & financial activities of the Training Center. At the same time, I engage in the process of implementing an Online Learning System by introducing e-learning for teaching and learning (WBT- Web Based Training) to enhance the training facilities available. For this purpose, I design and develop e-learning courses that appropriate to increase knowledge and skills of the staff of our organization. Further, I am the in charge of this e-learning project.
