Project description:

We are looking for a Freelance Sales Representative to promote and onboard sellers onto SWOP.lk, Sri Lanka’s growing online classified ads platform. This role requires physically visiting shops, vendors, and individual sellers to introduce them to our platform and help them post their ads.

Responsibilities:

• Visit businesses, vendors, and sellers in busy marketplaces and commercial areas to introduce SWOP.lk.

• Explain the benefits of advertising on our platform and assist them in creating their first ad.

• Collect necessary business details, product images, and advertisement content.

• Build relationships with sellers for potential long-term partnerships.

• Meet daily and weekly onboarding targets.

Requirements:

• Experience in sales, field marketing, or customer relations is an advantage.

• Strong communication skills in Sinhala and/or Tamil, with basic English proficiency.

• Confident, outgoing personality with the ability to convince and negotiate.

• A smartphone with internet access to assist with ad postings.

• Willingness to travel and engage with sellers in commercial hubs.
